Also called a chalcedony rose, this intriguing stone features fascinating shape and a rich brown translucent color. Some natural coatings and host rock deposits remain (intentionally) on the stone to accent its shape and increase interest. Although, historically, brown stones have not reached high popularity status, they are actually very versatile and wear well with almost any color and hue (light, medium, dark, bright, or earthy).
Description: A rich translucent brown stone; organically shaped, wrapped in 22 gauge sterling silver wire.
Stone Size: Medium (1” x 3/4” x 3/8”).
Pattern: Ripples and bubbles and domed ridges.
Contour: Non-uniform, rippled and bubbled, both front and back.
Unique Features: shape and natural accent coatings.
Polish: Waxy to brilliant.
Edges: Smooth with some distortions.
Treatment: None; natural stone, smoothed and polished only.
