A bright reflective lustrous metallic natural stone displaying a dominant charcoal blue black metallic appearance intermixed with more subtle lighter gray metallic coloration. While presented reasonably well with most colors of clothing, it is best worn with gray based (gray/silver, green, blue, purple) vs brown based (brown, red, orange, yellow/gold), as the metallic blue color tends to be more enhanced against gray based colors. Also wears well with earth tone, and dark colors, bright, and light colors, very nice with black; also a good conversation piece. Nearly solid blue black color provides some interest from a purist view, but non-standard shape and contour, metallic gray chalcocite veining, and a finely scaled and pitted surface give more appeal to an artistic or naturalistic view.

Description: Dark metallic charcoal blue black with lighter metallic gray, opaque rounded trapezium shaped stone, wrapped in 22 gauge sterling silver round wire.

Contour: Slightly slanted flat face with steeply sloped sides.

Treatment: None: natural stone, smoothed and polished only.

Comment: Some of the metallic blue appears like tarnish, as the stone may not appear so blue shortly after cleaning and polishing, but the metallic blue color will reappear after some time (a few days or a week). To retain the metallic blue color, care should be taken when cleaning and re-polishing the silver wire.
