Moonstone Pendant Wire Wrapped in .925 Sterling Silver Round Wire

This enchanting stone provides a subtle luminous glow of moving light across its surface (adularescence). The clear translucent characteristic of this stone makes it fashionable with almost any color and shade of clothing, though possibly not well suited with some cream, or near white shades due to blending. Line patterns both front and back, non-standard shape, internal cracking, and mottled adularescence are probably better suited to an artistic view.

Description: Translucent light cream to white/clear, trapezium nearly kite shaped stone wrapped in 20 gauge sterling silver wire.

Stone Size: Large (1-3/16” x 15/16” x 9/16”).

Pattern: Brilliant white glow with random internal cracking patterns.  

Contour: Smooth sloped flat face with steep sloped sides.

Unique Features: Exhibits adularescence (play of moving light due to overlapping translucent crystal planes), internal cracking patterns across front and back surfaces.

Polish: High gloss, brilliant.

Edges: Smooth, flat to domed, some fine external surface cracks.

Treatment: None; natural stone, smoothed and polished only.
