Red Aventurine Pendant Wire Wrapped in .925 Sterling Silver Round Wire

An enlivening stone composed of maroon-red muscovite (alurgite) mica suspended in clear translucent quartz background. Makes a refreshing combination with most light and medium colors, especially green and purple, and wears quite well with many darker colors. Not the best choice, however, for some dark pink, maroon, or mauve clothing as it tends to blend into similar colors. It wears well with most earth tone clothing; faded maroon or rust might be exceptions, as it also tends to blend or clash. This particular stone is dominated by abundant sparkling muscovite flakes; but with this abundance, surface pitting is also quite prevalent. A typical moderately pitted and random sparkling to flashy surface and a non-standard rounded rhombohedral shape, give this stone artistic and some naturalistic appeal.

Pattern: Random sparkling, flashy maroon-red muscovite mica against a clear background.

Contour: Smooth, high peaked domed face.

Unique Features: Maroon-red sparkling moderately pitted surface

Polish: High, brilliant.

Edges: Smooth.
