This delightful stone provides a rather consistent bright translucent orange color with a splash of white near the top and a veining pattern near the bottom. A versatile stone, it especially compliments, blue, coral/orange, brown and beige/tan colored clothing, and also wears quite well with yellow and green. Some caution should be taken with some medium and earth tone orange colors, as it may blend into them. Consistent color, flawless appearance (no chips, internal or external fractures, holes, pits, pockets, etc.,), and bright polish should appeal to a purist view; color variation, curved, irregular contour, and a rounded freeform non-standard shape provide artistic appeal.
