Mexican Amber Pendant Wire Wrapped in .925 Sterling Silver Round Wire

A beautiful clear golden orange-brown ancient organic material composed of hardened leguminous tree sap exuded during the late Oligocene and early Miocene epochs of the Cenozoic Era approximately 22 - 26 million years ago, and is found in the state of Chiapas, Mexico. Worn for its beauty, for educational or scientific interest, and as a conversation piece, this is a “wear with anything” stone, but may be most appropriately worn with earth tones, or clothing designed for natural world interest. A consistent color, high clarity, a near standard shape, and high dome contour appeal to a purist view; internal disc like reflective fracture surfaces appeal to an artistic view.
