Aventurine Pendant Wire Wrapped in .925 Sterling Silver Round Wire

An exciting stone composed of green fuchsite and sparkling muscovite mica in a clear translucent quartz background. Makes a refreshing combination with most light and medium colors, especially pink and blue tones, and wears quite well with many darker colors. Not the best choice, however, for most green clothing – light to dark as it tends to blend into green backgrounds and clash with yellow green. It wears well with most earth tone clothing; denim blue is an exception, as it also tends to blend, but surprisingly, olive green looks quite fine; a somewhat consistent solid medium green with flashy mica pattern, some broken internal and external surface distortion, and non-standard shape and contour give this stone mostly an artistic and naturalistic appeal.

Description: A medium green stone colored by fuchsite and muscovite mica in translucent quartz; rounded trapezium, near teardrop shaped stone, wrapped in 22 gauge sterling silver wire.

Size: Medium (1-1/8” x 5/8” x 5/16”).

Pattern: Internal medium green with bright, flashy spots and dots against a clear background.

Contour: Smooth, low curved dome sloped, nearly flat face.

Unique Features: Deep rich green coloration, and bright sparkling reflections.

Polish: High, brilliant.

Edges: Smooth, somewhat organic.

Treatment: None; natural stone, smoothed and polished only.
