Also called Hawk’s –Eye, this beautiful deep blue stone provides a rich display of moving light across its surface. Though elegant with many colors, it is particularly well suited when worn with clothing of the darker shades of brown, burgundy, purple, and red. It is also attractive with most pastels, medium colors and earth tones, but avoid wearing with dark blue, black, or yellow-green colors. Rather consistent color and nearly flat and flawless surfaces make this stone a moderately suitable choice for the purist. A rounded rhombohedral shape and chatoyant moving color variation is also appealing from an artistic perspective.
