This vibrant enlightening stone displays a luminous clear light orange background glow with a multi-color schiller effect caused by moving light reflections from a myriad of tiny goethite and/or hematite plates beneath its surface. It wears well with most colors with some preference toward darker shades of clothing, especially black, brown, blue, green, purple, and burgundy; a nice choice for the purist with a rather consistent brilliant flashing schiller appearance, a near standard curved teardrop cabochon shape and low dome surface; color variation and fine surface lines caused by exposed linear crystal planes also add appeal from an artistic view.
