Sodalite Pendant Wire Wrapped in 14/20 Gold Filled Round Wire

An enlivening stone of dark blue with lighter gray-white line and patch patterns; best worn with white and various shades of blue; but quite versatile, and many dark, bright, pastel and earth tone colors also wear well, especially black, grays, brown and beige/tan, and orange/coral hues. It is nicely worn with red, yellow and many green colors, but avoid wearing with light to bright yellow-greens, as they tend to cause a contrast clash. The extensive line and patch pattern, non-standard shape, and natural very minor surface pitting make this stone better suited to an artistic view.

Description: A dark blue stone with lighter gray-white lines and patched; rounded trapezium shaped, and opaque, wrapped in 22 gauge gold filled wire.

Stone Size: Medium (1-1/8” x 13/16” x 3/8”).

Pattern: Dark blue base with light gray-white lines and patches.

Contour: Smooth flat face.

Unique Features: Line and patch pattern; some very small natural pits (typical for this stone) on front face a larger pit on the back surface.

Polish: High gloss, brilliant.

Edges: Smooth.

Treatment: None: natural stone; smoothed and polished only.
