This beautiful blue stone exhibits pleochroism (color changes at different angles of light). Typically blue to blue-gray, it becomes clear to blue-lavender in transmitted light. Nicely worn with bright, white, and pastel colored clothing, including blue, gray, and lavender. Also the natural appeal of earth tone colors is enhanced by this stone. Avoid, however, wearing with most medium to dark colors, as this stone tends to blend into them. Non-standard shape, irregular contour, color variation, and slight pitting make this an artistic stone.
