This uplifting Smoky Quartz stone presents rich clarity in color of smoky brown. A nice compliment with almost any color of clothing, as it enhances either grey or brown based color tones; probably best as a contrast against lighter colored clothing. Black, charcoal, and dark brown colors might be avoided, as they will blend into this stone.

Description: Medium smoky brown; nearly oval, transparent stone wire wrapped in 22 gauge sterling silver.

Stone Size: Small (3/4” x 5/8” x 7/16”).

Pattern: Uniform, consistent.

Contour: Smooth high dome face.

Unique Features: Tiny dimple like chip on bottom front surface; tiny bubble inclusions along fine internal fracture planes.

Polish: High gloss, brilliant.

Edges: Smooth.

Treatment: Probably none, as smoky quartz is rather abundant naturally; but possibly irradiated to create a gray-brown smoky color, or heat treated to lighten the color.
