Aventurine Pendant Wire Wrapped in .925 Sterling Silver Round Wire

An exciting stone composed of spotty lines of green fuchsite mica in clear translucent quartz background. Makes a refreshing combination with most light and medium colors, especially pink and blue tones, and wears quite well with many darker colors. Not the best choice, however, for most green clothing – light to dark as it tends to blend into green backgrounds and clash with yellow green. It wears well with most earth tone clothing; denim blue is an exception, as it also tends to blend, but surprisingly, olive green looks quite fine. This particular stone is dominated by spotty green fuchsite and quartz with very few sparkling muscovite flakes; an inconsistent spotty green line pattern, and some red-brown surface discoloration with slight pitting on the left side, give this stone artistic and some naturalistic appeal. A well rounded triangular teardrop shape and relatively flat front surface may also find some appeal to a purist view.
