Citrine Pendant Wire Wrapped .925 Sterling Silver

This enlightening crystal point provides a combination of medium to light golden yellow to clear crystalline quartz with multiple internal reflective fracture planes. It especially compliments maroon/burgundy, blue, purple, brown and beige/tan colored clothing; black and medium to dark grays are also nice. It also wears quite well with some shades of yellow and green (especially blue green). Avoid the light and bright colors of red, orange, yellow, and yellow-green, as well as lighter grays, as these will hide the stone’s beauty or wash it’s color out. The inconsistent mixed light yellow and clear white color pattern and multiple golden, white, and internal light refraction, with some very  minor surface pitting  make this stone more for the artistic than for the purist.

Description: Refracted golden-yellow and clear crystal combination; polished hexagonal, translucent to transparent stone crystal wrapped in 22 gauge sterling silver wire.

Crystal Size: Small (1-3/16” x 5/16” x 5/16”).

Pattern: Golden to clear with internal reflection and refraction, some iridescence.

Contour: Smooth, six angled flat faces (3 front, 3 back).

Unique Features: Color variations, internal reflections and refraction.

Polish: High gloss, brilliant.

Edges: Natural crystal planes, sharp.

Treatment: Unknown, but probably heat treated, as much of the citrine in the market is heat treated amethyst; polished along crystal planes.
