Raw Stilbite Crystal Pendant Wire Wrapped .925 Sterling Silver
Raw Stilbite Crystal Pendant Wire Wrapped in .925 Sterling Silver Round Wire
A soft and subtly reflecting stone of pearly appearance composed of radial blade or sheaf-like stilbite crystals. Stilbite is a zeolite mineral closely related to scolecite, heulandite, mordenite, and other zeolite minerals. Stilbite crystal color varies from clear to opaque and generally white to cream or beige. It may also have very light pink hues. Several other colors exist, but are much less common. This crystal is dominantly beige-cream with some pink edges and back surfaces of the zeolitic host rock. It is very versatile and can be attractively worn against most colors, especially darker contrasting colors. Caution should be taken with white, cream, and other light pastel color backgrounds, as it may blend into them with its beauty obscured. As a raw or rough crystalline stone with a non-standard shape and contour, and natural rough bladed crystal surfaces, this stone is most appealing to an artistic or naturalistic view.
