Banded jasper is described mostly by pattern and exists in a wide variety of colors. This is a uniquely colored stone with red, white, beige and blue-gray curved concentric banding. Very versatile, this stone wears well with most colors and hues of clothing, though not so well suited with bright colors, especially orange, yellow, and yellow-green; a mostly artistic stone due to color variation, banding pattern, and non-standard shape and contour.

Description: A curved concentric banded red, white, beige, and blue-gray stone; rounded trapezium shaped, and opaque, wrapped in 22 gauge gold filled round wire.

Size: Large (1-5/16” x 7/8” x 1/2”).

Pattern: Imperfect curved concentric banding

Contour: Smooth high ridged face.

Polish: High gloss, brilliant.

Edges: Smooth, rounded.
