An uplifting and energizing stone of deep, maroon/burgundy color; this stone also includes black biotite and clear to white nepheline syenite minerals. Quite versatile, especially with light to medium and bright to earth tone hues, its better worn as a contrast stone, so darker colors are less preferable. Avoid similar colors of clothing as well as orange, yellow, and yellow-green; probably most fitting to an artistic view due to random internal pattern, but a standard oval shape and low dome surface contour may provide appeal to a purist view.
