Banded jasper is described mostly by pattern and exists in a wide variety of colors. This is a uniquely colored stone with mauve to gray diagonal banding. Quite versatile, this stone wears best with gray, black, lavender, rose pink, and most earth tone and light colors, quite well suited with some brown colors as well; Not as well suited with bright and some medium colors. A near standard kite shape and flat surface contours both front and back provide some appeal to a purist view; unique and unusual colors and pattern are better suited to an artistic view.

Description: A diagonal banded mauve to gray stone; kite shaped, and opaque, wrapped in 22-gauge sterling silver round wire.

Size: Large (1-7/16” x 7/8” x 1/4”).

Pattern: Imperfect diagonal banding
