Coprolite Petrified Dinosaur Dung Pendant Wire Wrapped 14/20 Gold Filled
Coprolite Petrified Dinosaur Dung Pendant Wire Wrapped 14/20 Gold Filled Round Wire
An interesting and intriguing stone from the age of the dinosaurs (Triassic through Cretaceous geologic time periods – 65 to 225 million years ago); coprolite is fossilized, petrified (or agatized) dinosaur dung. A dominant swirled red-orange color with clear, white, and light blue to green-brown streak and patch patterns cutting through this stone presents a beautiful color combination and makes a nice conversation piece, especially for educational or scientific interest, high color contrast within the stone makes it wear well with most colors of clothing; mostly an artistic piece due to non-standard shape, random color pattern variation and some small naturally pitted surface areas; a nearly flat surface contour may provide some appeal to a purist perspective.
