An interesting and intriguing stone from the age of the dinosaurs (Triassic through Cretaceous geologic time periods – 65 to 225 million years ago); coprolite is fossilized, petrified (or agatized) dinosaur dung. A dominant swirled red-orange color with yellow-beige to green-brown sinuous streak and patch patterns cutting through this stone presents a beautiful color combination and makes a nice conversation piece, especially for educational or scientific interest, high color contrast within the stone makes it wear well with most colors of clothing; mostly an artistic piece due to random color pattern variation and some small naturally pitted surface areas with a near standard shape and flat surface contour providing some appeal to a purist perspective.

Description: Random sinuous patch and streak patterned, yellow-beige and green-brown against a red-orange base, triangular shaped, opaque stone wrapped in 22 gauge gold filled wire.
