This fascinating stone features subtle botryoidal bronze, gold, and green iridescent patterns within a clear translucent to rich brown agate base. Although, historically, brown stones have not reached high popularity status, they are actually very versatile and wear well with almost any color and hue (light, medium, dark, bright, or earthy). Colors similar to the “fire” colors combine especially well. The only colors to stay away from are the light to medium grays. The shape, color, contour, and pattern variation appeals most to an artistic view; a high surface polish may also provide interest to a purist view.

Description: A clear translucent to rich brown stone with multi-color iridescent internal “fire”; rounded, curved triangular wedge shaped, translucent to opaque wrapped in 20 gauge 14k/20 gold filled round wire.

Stone Size: Large (1-1/4” x 1-1/16” x 1/4”).

Pattern:  Bright internal botryoidal (bubbly) bronze, gold, and green iridescent fire.

Contour: Smooth low dome, nearly flat face.

Unique Features: Iridescent colors and pattern; back of this stone is brown host rock with some open organic surfaces and pits, providing some interest, but not intended for presentation or display.  

Polish: High gloss, brilliant.

Edges: Smooth, domed, with some minor surface distortions.

Treatment: None; natural stone, smoothed and polished only.
