Also called Bull’s Eye, this beautiful stone provides a rich display of moving red-brown light across its surface. Though elegant with many other colors, it is particularly well suited when worn with clothing of the darker shades of brown, burgundy, purple or blue. It also wears well with black clothing. Shape, contour, and color variation make this an artistic stone, though a near flawless front surface might find interest in a purist view.

Pattern: Diagonal banding, showing brilliant golden red-brown chatoyancy.

Contour: Smooth, curved low dome.

Unique Features: Exhibits chatoyancy (band of moving light due to compact fibrous structure); some broken semi-polished surfaces on stone back.
