Apache Tear Pendant Wire Wrapped 14/20 Gold-Filled
Apache Tear Pendant Wire Wrapped in 14/20 Gold Filled Round Wire
This beautiful stone, originated from a volcanic eruption, is of a relatively consistent smoky grey-brown color. It wears well with almost any color of clothing, as it compliments either grey or brown based color tones. An exception might be black, since this stone will appear black on black. Consistent color and flawless appearance (no chips, internal or external fractures, holes, pits, pockets, etc.,) make this stone a suitable choice for the purist. The sleek curved free form shape also gives appeal from an artistic viewpoint.

Comment: Apache tears form a natural fusion crust, similar to some meteorites, tektites, and moldavites as they are rapidly ejected from volcanic eruptions and return to the ground. Smoothing and polishing, as this stone is, reveals the inner beauty of apache tears, resulting in a variety of colors of beautiful and attractive appearances, including soft shiny opaque black, translucent smoky gray brown, red-brown, mahogany (mixed patchy brown and black), charcoal gray, striped black and gray, etc.; however, the fusion crust is necessarily removed during the polishing process. A unique, handmade, genuine semi-precious stone pendant, this piece is posted individually, not merely a representative item - what you see is what you get.
