Also known as Star of India, this elegant stone displays four-point asterism (star like lines and points of light), similar to the six-point asterism in Star Sapphire. Rich black with a moving light reflection. Typically, vertical asterism is much more pronounced than horizontal/diagonal asterism in star diopside, and this stone is quite typical. Like other black stones, this one also provides unmatched versatility. It wears beautifully with practically any color, including black and earth tones.

Description: A solid black; oval shaped, and opaque drilled stone, wrapped in 22 gauge sterling silver wire.
