With a refreshing, elevating bright pink center enclosed within fine clear inner, and dark forest green outer, boundaries; this translucent to transparent watermelon tourmaline crystal cross section is a rather rare and unusual find. It is most beautifully worn against lighter colors, as the colors of the stone can be more clearly seen. While its bright reflection appears rich and elegant against medium to dark colored clothing, the actual color of the stone is often obscured; not particularly well suited with earth tone colors.
