Conglomerate Jasper Pendant Wire Wrapped in 14/20 Gold Filled Round Wire

A colorful and uniquely patterned stone composed of small rounded to somewhat angular stones naturally compacted and cemented together to form a solid jasper stone. Colors include white, pink, lavender, coral orange, and purple-brown. Quite versatile, as this stone is a mixed variety of colors, mostly pink and lavender, it wears well with many colors, especially darker red, purple, and maroon, as well as dark and medium colors generally, earth tones, white, and light pastels, with the exception of pink, lavender and other similar colors in the stone, as they tend to make this stone blend or fade. Also of scientific interest; while the geologic origin of this stone is unknown, it appears to be derived from small compacted volcanic stones (tuff or rhyolite) that have been replaced by jasper. Color variation, pattern and non-standard shape and contour make this piece best suited to an artistic or naturalistic view.

Comment: Haven’t seen this stone before? Although there are many; and many types, of agate and jasper, some specific kinds aren’t abundant enough to be produced commercially. They may only be found as one or a few in random places; at very small, unique sources; or under conditions where excessive sorting through a large amount of unattractive material becomes too labor intensive to be worth any large commercial endeavor. This stone is of one of these classes. A unique, handmade, genuine semi-precious stone pendant, this piece is posted individually, not merely a representative item - what you see is what you get.
