Also called optical calcite or Iceland spar, this inspiring crystal exhibits a clear transparent appearance with sharply defined external crystal plane surfaces and internal and external rainbow or iridescent coloration. As it is clear to white, it is very versatile and can be worn with any colors of clothing; the natural crystalline state, broken surface planes, and internal iridescent patterns appeal mostly to artistic and naturalist views.

Description: Very clear with multiple internal and external crystal plane distortions and rainbow refraction when viewed from certain angles; rhombohedral shaped crystal wrapped in 22 gauge gold filled wire.

Crystal Size: Small (1” x 1/2” x 7/16”).

Pattern: Very clear stone with multiple external and internal crystal planes with iridescent reflection and refraction.

Contour:  Near flat lightly stepped crystal face.
