I love buying from Jemel because they don't do anything to their crystals (treat them in anyway). They are unique and beautifully set in gold or silver wire. Their prices are reasonable and they ship very quickly. I'm a repeat customer.

Also called Fingerprint Jasper, an elegant and interesting stone, composed of fine line contour layers ranging in color from off white/beige to dark brown and black. Versatile, like dark brown or black, it wears beautifully with practically any color, including black and earth tones, also makes a nice combination with striped patterned clothing.

Contour: Low dome, peaked, ridged face.

Unique Features: Fine contour lines.

Polish: High gloss, brilliant.

Edges: Smooth.

Treatment: None; natural stone, smoothed and polished only.

Comment: Haven’t seen this stone before? Although there are many; and many types, of agate and jasper, some specific kinds aren’t abundant enough to be produced commercially. They may only be found as one or a few in random places; at very small, unique sources; or under conditions where excessive sorting through a large amount of unattractive material becomes too labor intensive to be worth any large commercial endeavor. This is one of those kinds of stones. We get this stone from its source. This stone may also be a charcoal black with cream to beige fine lined petrified wood. The appearance and form of many of these stones indicate this, but in other stones, the lines are so twisted and contorted that they don’t follow any typical patterns of petrified wood. Therefore the evidence is not apparent or conclusive enough to make a petrified wood determination. A unique, handmade, genuine semi-precious stone pendant, this piece is posted individually, not merely a representative item - what you see is what you get.
