This enchanting stone displays a bright luminous soft blue  reflection of moving light across its surface (adularescence) against a light clear golden internal translucence, similar to clear opal. It wears well with most colors with some preference toward darker shades of clothing, especially black, brown, blue, green, purple, and burgundy.
