Calcite Crystal Pendant Wire Wrapped in .925 Sterling Silver Round Wire

This inspiring crystal exhibits almost pure transparent clarity within multiple layered crystal planes. Clarity does not continue through this crystal, as the back of it is quite rough, but exhibited internal iridescence and crystal plane reflection and refraction is enhanced by its rough back. As it is clear to cloudy white, with background reflection and refraction; it is very versatile and can be worn with any color of clothing. The natural crystalline state, cloudy areas, rough back, and exposed surface crystal plate edges probably keep this piece in the artist and naturalist realm. 

Description: Clear, natural, nearly oval shaped, transparent to opaque crystal, wrapped in 20 gauge sterling silver round wire.

Crystal Size: Large (1-5/16” x 15/16” x 7/16”).

Pattern: Solid clear to cloudy mineral crystal with internal crystal plane distortions, and some internal iridescent coloration.

Contour: Smooth, blocky stepped, angled flat faces.

Unique Features: Transition from rough cloudy back to clear front surface; reflection, refraction with some iridescent coloration.

Polish: Unpolished, natural crystal, brilliant front surface; rough back.

Edges: Natural, sloped, flat, slightly stepped along crystal planes.
