A beautiful stone displaying a rich mixed combination of golden yellow and red moving light over its surface; elegant with most colors, including earth tones; it is particularly well suited with clothing of the darker shades of brown, burgundy, purple, or blue. It also wears well with black clothing. An inconsistent color and pattern, non-standard rounded rectangle shape, and a few small surface flaws make this stone more suitable to an artistic perspective. 

Description: Mixed golden-brown and red reflective chatoyant, rounded long rectangular shaped opaque stone wrapped in 22-gauge bronze round wire.

Stone Size: Large (1-9/16” x 11/16” x 3/16”).

Pattern: Intermixed vertical striated banding, showing brilliant golden and red chatoyancy.

Contour: Smooth flat face.

Unique Features: Exhibits chatoyancy (band of moving light due to compact fibrous structure); golden brown and red.

Polish: High gloss, brilliant, but appears as a soft glow.

Edges: Smooth, high dome.

Treatment: None; natural stone, smoothed and polished only.
