Raw Apache Tear Pendant Wire Wrapped .925 Sterling Silver
Raw Apache Tear Pendant Wire Wrapped in .925 Sterling Silver Round Wire
This unique and interesting stone, originating from a volcanic eruption, remains primarily in its natural state with little change to shape, surface contours, flat black color, etc. Its solid black color with some red-brown accents makes it wear well with almost any color of clothing, as it compliments either grey or brown based color tones. An exception might be black, since this stone will appear black on black. The natural shape, surface contours, and unpolished black appearance make this stone best suited to a naturalistic or artistic view.

Comment: Raw Apache tears form a natural fusion crust, similar to some meteorites, tektites, and moldavites as they are rapidly ejected from volcanic eruptions and return to the ground. Smoothing and polishing reveals the inner beauty of Apache tears, resulting in a variety of colors of beautiful and attractive appearances, including soft shiny opaque black, translucent smoky gray brown, red-brown, mahogany (mixed patchy brown and black), charcoal gray, striped black and gray, etc.; however, the fusion crust is necessarily removed during the polishing process. Apache tears are still, to many people, even more interesting and attractive in their raw or rough state with the fusion crust intact as this one is. A unique, handmade, genuine semi-precious stone pendant, this piece is posted individually, not merely a representative item - what you see is what you get.
